Giving Thanks- Without a Turkey!

Another day has passed here in Nippon (that's Japanese for Japan) and it just happened to be Thanksgiving.  But other than thinking of home and telling maybe two or three Japanese people about this holiday of ours, it was just like any other day - and, I messed up a handful of times today- that set it apart a bit.
Seriously, I wanted to post a few pics and say hello to everyone on this day of days.  I miss the smells of home and playing with the nieces and nephews.  I even miss talking over everyone else's talking.  We are fun.
I am posting a picture and would like to start a "what I am thankful for" list.  Here is mine...
This year I am thankful for this amazing job and experience that has afforded me to pay off my debt and also has brought some great friends into my life.  I am so fortunate to have the things I have and to enjoy the things I do.

So yes, that is the beginning of the list.  Feel free to comment, one and all!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Thanks Josh - I was thinking the same thing.

I'm thankful for the friends we've made here. We had 3 different families invite us for dinner. I'm also thankful for the missionaries that drop by our house all the time. Its usually annoying at first, but they're like little messengers sent to us to bring us comfort. I hope you all have something like that in your lives too.

Love you ALL!!
